Sunstone at Juniper Springs Lodge This is THEE GREATEST SKI LOCATION in Mammoth Lakes.
Located slopeside at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, the vacation condo is two bedrooms (ok, so they're not huge). A King Master (with an adjoining Private Bathroom) and a second Bedroom configured with two Twin Beds (but which housekeeping will be glad to convert into a "King" for your arrival.)
The Living Room/Dining Room is compact but, comfortable. The Sunstone Kitchen is no place you want to prepare a turkey dinner for all your relatives, but it will do the job nicely for a week in the mountains, thank you.
The Deck…
…ah the Deck. How shall I put this. Ok. There's the pool, there's the ski-slope, there's the (high speed-six passenger) Chair Lift…here am I, sitting on my snow level deck. It is sooooo good. Watch the world go by…or get your boots on, pick up your ski's or snowboard in 'your' Locker Room, walk ten paces outside the back door, put em on and 'voila'…slide down to the chair.

ski up to your condo deck and call out to your wife/husband/son/uncle/friend/personal assistant "Hey, bring me my Hot Chocolate!" And you can do all of this without ever having to remove your boards. It's a perfect world.
The pool and the spa are open year round (unless they're broken, I guess…which they shouldn't be for crying out loud. Mammoth Lakes' Sunstone building at Juniper Springs Lodge is brand new and was just finished in 2001.)
